MODAF Training
We offer the following MODAF courses and briefings:
- Half-day or breakfast briefings – aimed at decision makers who need to know about Enterprise Architecture and MODAF, but who won’t be hands-on architects.
- One-day introduction – starts with the same content as the half-day briefing, but goes onto provide more background for those who need to know more about the topic in order to better understand the architectures their staff and contractors are producing. This course focuses on reading MODAF architectures.
- One-day technical – aimed at systems engineers, business analysts and IT professionals who are experienced modellers and want to ensure their work is MODAF compliant. This course focuses on creating MODAF architectures.
- Two-day course – similar to the one-day, but starting from first principles with modelling techniques and an explanation of Enterprise Architecture. This course is aimed at requirements managers and desk officers who need to work with MODAF, but are not experienced systems engineers or IT professionals.
All courses are presented by Ian Bailey, who was technical lead in the original MODAF development team, and is considered the subject matter expert in MODAF for MOD.
