Model Futures staff and associates cover a broad range of capabilities. A selection of consultants are listed below.

Ian Bailey – Founder and managing director of Model Futures.
Ian is an expert in enterprise architecture and has advised customers in the private and public sector on putting in place EA strategies. He had the main technical role in the development of the MOD Architecture Framework (MODAF), with responsibility for the MODAF Meta Model (M3) and the subsequent v1.2 and v1.2 revisions of MODAF. Prior to that, Ian specialised in data modelling in the International Standards community, and has been editor of two ISO standards. Ian has a background in systems integration and data modelling which has also led him to work in the area of formal ontologies for data integration.

Anthony Brister – Associate
Tony had a challenging first career leading large organisations in the British Army, culminating as Head of the Army’s Educational and Training Services Branch (in the rank of brigadier), responsible for learning and development across the Army. In 2007 he formed AB Coaching and Leadership Ltd to provide executive/performance coaching; leadership mentoring; leadership, training, educational and organisational consultancy; board and team facilitation; and training in coaching, mentoring and leadership. He is qualified as a coach and leadership mentor (ILM Postgraduate Diploma (Level 7) in Leadership Mentoring and Executive Coaching), an NLP Practioner, and an adult educator (PGCE (FE)). He has worked with a wide range of clients including from the Education, Health, Social Care and Charity sectors and the MOD, and across a wide age range including board members, senior executives, postdoctoral researchers and post graduate students.

Simon Dick – Associate
Simon was one of the founding members of Logistic Information Consultants (LInC) in 2010. Simon has a professional background in aeronautical and mechanical engineering, and is an experienced management consultant in all aspects of Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) and the associated disciplines. He has led the development of various National and International Standards associated with ILS, and has built a reputation over the last 20 years associated with process and information modelling and management of through life support of high value assets. He has extensive experience in the development of information requirement specifications, and modelling of the associated business process, information and architecture solutions to meet the needs of individual requirements.

Emma Foster – Principle Consultant
Emma is a specialist in social applications of web technology. She provides strategic support and advice to social venture startups such as OwnGig and vTravelled. Prior to that, Emma founded and ran Incline Media which was sold to WPP in 2004. As well as consulting with Model Futures, Emma runs the new social gaming venture PlayThisNext who recently made it to the final of the MIP360 conference in Cannes. She is also a business mentor to the Princes Trust.

Brad Harris – Associate
Brad was one of the founding members of Logistic Information Consultants (LInC) in 2010.Brad has a professional mechanical engineering education and training, and is an experienced information management consultant by profession. He has extensive experience in developing requirements specifications, information and process model operational views of Enterprise Architectures, software demonstrators and implementation specifications.
